dr hab. Hubert Kaszyński, prof. UJ - sociologist, clinical social worker, social work supervisor. Head of the Sociology of Mental Health and Social Work Department at the Institute of Sociology, Jagiellonian University in Kraków, holds Distinguished Fellow status, at the Paul Baerwald School of Social Work and Social Welfare at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (from 2024 to 2026).
Since 1989, involved in mental health research and practice. Currently, coordinator of the project Social Welfare Institutions - A Trauma-Informed Approach conducted at the JU Behaviour in Crisis Lab. Convener of the Special Interest Group Holocaust Heritage for Contemporary Clinical Social Work at the European Association of Schools of Social Work.
Appointed by the Jagiellonian University Rector in 2021 as Accessibility Coordinator, working with the JU Accessibility Centre. Member of the Regional Examination Board for the degree of professional specialisation of social workers at the Regional Centre for Social Policy in Kraków (2023-2028).
