
Lukasz Szwejka, Ph.D. in Social Sciences in the discipline of Pedagogy. He works as an assistant professor in the Department of Social Prevention and Rehabilitation at Jagiellonian University and as an assistant professor at the Educational Research Institute. He is the author of academic monographs, including Systemic Reduction of Gambling Disorder (2022), Between Community and Alienation: The Human Being in the Context of Contemporary Transformations of Society and Family (2021), as well as numerous articles in the field of rehabilitation and related areas. He has carried out scientific and applied research projects co-financed by the National Bureau for Drug Prevention (KCPU). His scientific interests include the determinants of social problems, the measurement of the effectiveness of preventive, rehabilitation, and therapeutic interventions, and the application of statistical models in the social sciences.
