The objective of the study conducted at the Jagiellonian University is to provide an in-depth diagnosis of the state of mental health and its determinants within the academic environment. On this basis, we also aim to develop recommendations for universities in Poland.
We understand mental health in three ways: as psychosocial resources, socio-organizational resources, and organizational-systemic resources. These factors constitute the focus of our research.
An additional objective of the study is to deconstruct stereotypes related to mental health by supporting innovative forms of psychological support and by developing recommendations for shaping an academic environment that fosters well-being, agency, and the psychological resilience of the academic community.
